Minnesota Opera's 55th Season Anniversary Gala

The glamorous 55th Season Anniversary Opera Gala at the historic Saint Paul Hotel in St. Paul, Minnesota. All attendees arrived in style to the red carpet event, in preparation for a night of glam and entertainment and the opening night of Don Pasquale. The La La Land themed evening, featured performances from the motion picture, as elements of the evening set the tone for the Hollywood blockbuster. A mix of jewel toned floral, birds, and elements in the room set the tone for the fabulous affair. Special guest, Jujubee, from Ru Paul's Drag Race stole the show and guests danced the night away.
"It was was the social columnists like to refer to as a "superlative affair." The men were in black tie, echoing the palette of the photographs, and the women wore brightly colored dresses hemmed at every length from the Achiles tendon to the top of the thigh. Champagne was being served off little round trays by young unemployed actors with flawless features and the grace of acrobats. Few of the guests were looking at the pictures. They were too busy enjoying themselves"
